When I first got the the Hidden City and explored it (shortly after NF release) I remember taking quite a few screenies of it, it was just so pretty... the hanging gardens / fountains, the sea of gold... in the back room where the Mesmer Boss is, is a spectacular hanging Garden / fountain if you look straight up.

In my opinion, a more realistic looking game is much "prettier".
I absolutely love the scenery in Oblivion, and that is partially because it looks so realistic. |

oblivion is a gorgeous game. while GW has some very beautiful landscape, it doesn't come close to oblivion in terms of sheer detail. forest/jungle areas in oblivion, especially during sunsets and sunrise, made my dad's mouth drop by their beauty.
oblivion's art style is also quite different from GW. GW is more stylized, while oblivion is more detailed yet more cartoonish at times. of course, oblivion is also 4x as demanding as GW in terms of hardware specs, so such a comparison is not particularly fair. |

That screen shot of the imperial city looks shoddy, there are much smexier places in Oblivion, but i have to say GW ftw
